About Nigels Floors & More LLC

My name is Nigel Reid, and I am the owner of Nigels Floors & More LLC. My journey in the flooring industry began in 1996 when I joined the Carpenters Floorlayer Union apprenticeship program. From the very beginning, I learned that quality flooring is not just about materials, but about skill, discipline, and pride in workmanship. I completed the apprenticeship and graduated in 2000, gaining a strong foundation that continues to shape how I approach every project today.
Between 1996 and 2010, I worked with several flooring companies on a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Those years allowed me to learn firsthand how different flooring systems perform in real homes and working environments. I gained hands on experience installing hardwood, vinyl, tile, laminate, carpet, and specialty flooring, while also learning the importance of preparation, precision, and doing the job right the first time. Each project strengthened my respect for the craft and for the trust clients place in the people working in their space.
In 2010, after years of learning and growing in the industry, I incorporated my own company, Nigels Flooring. My goal was simple: to build a flooring company focused on honesty, craftsmanship, and dependable service. I wanted customers to feel confident not only in the final result, but in the process itself. Today, with more than 16 years in business, I remain personally invested in every project and take pride in delivering consistent, reliable results.

Flooring is more than just my profession. It is work I care deeply about. Every floor represents someone’s home or business, and I treat each project with the attention and respect it deserves. My goal is to create flooring solutions that last, improve everyday spaces, and give clients confidence that their project is in capable and experienced hands.
